Crysis · Volume 1 of 3Crysis Remastered - The Complete 100% Walkthrough
All 11 missions of Crysis Remastered, all 40 Steam achievements and all 14 secondary objectives, including the four in Ascension, the flight level that came back to PC in December 2020. Written for the Steam release (17 September 2021, AppID 1715130) as it stands in October 2026, using Steam's current achievement text. The game has no collectibles: the checklists here track the secondary objectives, the firearms for Weapons Master and the attachments for Something For Every Occasion.
1. What "100%" Means in Crysis Remastered
Crysis Remastered is Crytek's remaster of Crysis (Crytek and Electronic Arts, 2007), made in partnership with Saber Interactive. It was built from the PS3 and Xbox 360 port rather than the 2007 PC release. It came out on Switch in July 2020, on the Epic Games Store, PS4 and Xbox One in September 2020, and on Steam on 17 September 2021. In a Nanosuit you fight the North Korean army (the KPA) across an island over 11 missions. It is single-player only.
The Steam list has 40 achievements, 12 of them hidden:
- Story (16): one per story milestone, from the first mission to the last. All automatic, on any difficulty.
- Difficulty and campaign (5): Crysis Controlled (any difficulty), Cool In A Crysis (Hard or Delta) and Delta: Act I, II and III. One Delta run unlocks all five.
- Secondary objectives (3): Following Orders at 4, Without Question at 8 and Perfect, Soldier! at all 14. The last four are in Ascension.
- Combat (9): two kill counters (200 and 400), five helicopters, five tanks, a 200 m kill, five unseen kills in a row, 20 grab kills, 10 thrown-object kills and a Strength punch on an enemy Nanosuit soldier.
- Weapons (3): a kill with every firearm, every attachment used, and one weapon with all 5 modification points filled.
- Suit and exploration (3): 3 km of Speed sprinting, picking up an animal, and 30 binocular tags.
- Mission challenge (1): One Careful Owner, finishing Onslaught in the tank you start it in.
- No collectibles. GamePressure says the game has none, and no achievement asks for any. The nearest thing is the 14 secondary objectives, which get a tracked table in each mission that has them.
Tip. Nothing is permanently missable. TrueAchievements' walkthrough and Cynic's Steam guide both say so, TrueSteamAchievements flags no achievement as missable, and mission select lets you replay any mission once you have finished the game (§4 covers when it opens). Within one run, a few things do close behind you: each mission's secondary objectives when you leave the mission, One Careful Owner once the starting tank is lost, and a weapon Prophet hands over during a conversation in Paradise Lost. A Warning sits before each of those in the walkthrough.
Spoiler policy
Each mission gets one line of setup, not a retelling. The 16 story achievements are visible on Steam, but read in order their descriptions trace the plot to the last mission, so §6 keeps them under their own heading at the end of the list. The weapon Prophet hands over in Paradise Lost appears as "the MOAC" in the achievement table, the walkthrough and the appendix; its full in-game name, which gives away a late twist, appears only in the §18 checklist and in §22. Mission names are used throughout.
2. How to Use This Guide
Mission numbering. The Steam version has 11 missions, numbered here in the game's order with Ascension as the tenth. The console versions, and the remaster as first released, have 10 because Ascension was missing, so older guides are one mission short.
Every mission below has:
- A count strip: the achievements this guide places in that mission (and how many of them are hidden), its secondary objectives, its act and its number.
- A line of setup.
- A secondary objectives table, in the 7 missions that have any. The # column is the running number out of 14, so you can see which objective triggers Following Orders (4), Without Question (8) and Perfect, Soldier! (14).
- Achievement callouts where each one unlocks, and Warning callouts before anything that closes behind you.
The firearm and attachment checklists for Weapons Master and Something For Every Occasion are in §18, because both build up over several missions.
Tick a row's box as you go. Progress is saved in your browser, per guide.
Tip. As one Steam player points out, the game gives you no way to see which secondary objectives you have already done. The tables here are your record, so tick each one the moment it completes.

G --> H(["All 40 achievements"])
One unbroken Delta run covers the story, all five difficulty achievements and all 14 secondaries. Mission select on Easy then mops up the four achievements that are risky on Delta.
Why this order?
- Delta stacks. Finishing on Delta also unlocks Crysis Controlled and Cool In A Crysis, and only Delta counts for the three Delta: Act achievements. One run does the work of three. Every one-run guide starts a new game on it.
- The Delta acts pop as you go. Delta: Act I unlocks at the end of Relic, Act II at the end of Awakening and Act III at the end of Reckoning, provided every mission in that act was played on Delta. If one fails to appear, you find out straight away rather than at the credits (§20).
- No replays until the credits. Cynic warns against replaying missions mid-run (§4), so every secondary objective is done in the main run, in order, and mission select waits until the end.
- Four achievements are Easy jobs. TrueAchievements calls Catch This!, Choke Hold and Knock-off Knockout dangerous on Delta and leaves them for a second pass. Cynic recommends Easy or Normal for One Careful Owner. Try them on Delta if the chance comes; finish them on Easy.
- Marathon Man first. It has the game's best-known tracking bug, and the heaviest fix deletes your saves and starts a new game (§20). On the Contact beach, at the very start, that costs you nothing.
Cynic puts the Delta run at about 10 hours and the whole list at 15-25 hours; TrueSteamAchievements estimates 8-10 hours.
4. Mechanics Worth Knowing Before You Start
- Difficulty. Easy, Normal, Hard and Delta. Delta removes the crosshair and the grenade warnings, and enemies speak only Korean. Cool In A Crysis needs Hard or Delta; the three Delta: Act achievements need Delta and nothing else.
- Saving. Checkpoints only. There are no manual saves.
- Suit controls. The remaster's default Nanosuit controls come from the console port: Armor and Cloak are key presses, and Speed kicks in by itself when you sprint. The Classic Suit Controls option restores the original scheme. One commenter says it lets you toggle Strength directly, which helps with Catch This!. Leave it off until Marathon Man has unlocked (§20).
- Mission select. Two Russian-language Steam guides say any mission can be replayed on any difficulty once you have finished the game. It takes its difficulty from the game settings: set the difficulty first, then pick the mission. One guide implies finished missions appear in the menu before the credits, but no source confirms whether it opens mission by mission or only after the credits.
- Don't replay mid-run. Cynic warns that a replay before the credits resets progress on some achievements, Perfect, Soldier! among them, and that only one game can be active at a time. Play the Delta run straight through.
- Secondary objectives. Optional tasks, shown as yellow or orange dots on the map. Steam's version has 14: 4 in Act I, 6 in Act II and 4 in Ascension. Each mission's secondaries close when you leave that mission.
- Weapon customisation. This Is My Rifle wants all 5 modification points on one weapon, and only the FY71 has that many. The ammo type counts as one of the five, so incendiary ammo matters.
- Grab and throw. Hold melee to grab an enemy, then throw or kill them (Choke Hold). For Catch This!, switch to Strength before throwing a heavy object: red barrels, dumpsters and manhole covers kill in one hit.
- Binoculars. Every enemy you tag counts towards Keen Observer (30). The binoculars also tag the cruiser in Assault and paint the munitions dump in Onslaught.
- Kill counters and reloads. Never farm a spot by reloading a checkpoint. What the sources report about counters and reloads is in §20.
- Files. Saves and profile live under
%USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\CrysisRemastered\, in the SaveGames and Profiles folders. The Marathon Man fix deletes both, so back them up first.
Warning. These draw repeated "not unlocking" reports: Marathon Man, Zoology, the three Delta acts, and Perfect, Soldier! when an Ascension objective was missed. §20 gives each workaround.
5. The Master Checklist
Mission order. Achievements here counts the achievements this guide places in each mission; with the three cumulative ones that have no fixed home, they sum to 40. Running total counts the 14 secondary objectives.
| # | Mission | Act | Secondary objectives | Achievements here | Running total |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Contact | I | 2 | 4 | 2 |
| 2 | Recovery | I | 1 | 4 | 3 |
| 3 | Relic | I | 1 | 6 | 4 |
| 4 | Assault | II | 1 | 4 | 5 |
| 5 | Onslaught | II | 4 | 5 | 9 |
| 6 | Awakening | II | 1 | 3 | 10 |
| 7 | Core | III | 0 | 2 | 10 |
| 8 | Paradise Lost | III | 0 | 2 | 10 |
| 9 | Exodus | III | 0 | 1 | 10 |
| 10 | Ascension | III | 4 | 1 | 14 |
| 11 | Reckoning | III | 0 | 5 | 14 |
| Any mission (cumulative) | 0 | 3 | 14 | ||
| Total | 14 | 40 | 14 |
Core, Paradise Lost, Exodus and Reckoning have no secondary objectives. Onslaught alone holds four, and Ascension's four are the ones console-era guides never mention.
6. The Achievement List - All 40
40 achievements, 12 hidden on Steam. The hidden descriptions below come from Exophase and TrueSteamAchievements, which agree word for word. The rarest by Steam global percentage on 14 October 2026 are Catch This! (6.6%), Delta: Act III (7.8%), Delta: Act II (8.3%), and Delta: Act I and Knock-off Knockout (both 8.9%).

7. Mission 1 - Contact
The opening mission: off the landing beach and inland through KPA villages and a checkpoint, with Prophet on the radio.
Two achievements are on the beach itself, so do them before you move off.
Achievement - Zoology. Hidden. Pick up the turtle on the landing beach. You don't need to throw it; putting it back down is fine. If nothing unlocks, grab one of the crabs on the same beach, near the two idle KPA soldiers, and throw it at them. That is the fix one Steam player used (§20).
Then, while you are still on the sand, start the sprint.
Achievement - Marathon Man. Hidden. 3 km of Speed sprinting. With the default suit controls, sprinting switches to Speed by itself. Run back and forth along the beach for about 5 minutes, as a Russian guide does. Steam shows your progress in 500 m steps, so you can check it is counting, and Cynic notes that sprinting on an empty energy bar still counts. Keep Classic Suit Controls off until it unlocks (§20).
After that, tag every enemy you see with the binoculars: TrueAchievements counts about 20 between the beach and Fisher's Village.
| # | Objective | Location / how |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Disable the GPS Jamming Device | The first village after Aztec's death; Prophet announces it. Clear the village, then either put the two red barrels next to the jammer and shoot them, or use the LTV's gunner seat. A Russian guide says you can also walk up to its control panel and interact. |
| 2 | Investigate North Korean Command Post | A trailer on the overlook past Fisher's Village, beyond the beach. Sneak in up the slope on the right, start the upload, and wait cloaked by the door until it reaches 100%. |
Achievement - Keen Observer. Hidden. 30 binocular tags, cumulative. If you have tagged everything since the beach, it should unlock before Contact ends. If you fall short, Relic has a backup (§9).
Nano Ninja can already be done here too. A commenter on one Steam guide managed it in the first area with a silenced weapon, taking out the rearmost soldier of a patrol first; the full method is in §8.
Warning. Both Contact secondaries close when the mission ends. Have them before you follow Prophet's lead up the hill past the KPA checkpoint, which takes you to the end of the mission.
Prophet radios that there is something you will want to see, up the hill to the left past the KPA checkpoint.
Achievement - A Little Trouble Parking. The cutscene up there unlocks it, at the end of the mission.
After the mission, a Russian Steam guide suggests checking episode select to see whether Contact registered as cleared on Delta, and restarting if it did not (§4 covers whether the menu lists missions before the credits). If you look, only look: don't start a replay mid-run.
8. Mission 2 - Recovery
Upriver through KPA ground: a hostage in a school, a forward base, and Prophet waiting at the far end.
| # | Objective | Location / how |
|---|---|---|
| 3 | Access NK Tactical Network | The building on the hill before the Korean forward base, guarded by 6 soldiers. Start the upload inside. A Russian guide describes it as switching on 3 radio stations in one house. |
Achievement - Long Distance Relationship. Hidden. One kill from 200 m or more. Pick up the DSG-1 behind the Tactical Network building: the 4 KPA at the town entrance are 220-240 m away (TrueAchievements). If you miss the chance, there are backups at the start of Assault (§10) and in Onslaught (§11). One TrueAchievements commenter made several 200 m+ kills on Xbox that did not count, so if nothing unlocks, try another target.
For Something For Every Occasion, TrueAchievements takes the Assault scope from the Recovery sniper's DSG-1; tick it off in §18. Also in Recovery, the school building holds the hostage, and its entrance is the place for Nano Ninja.
Achievement - Nano Ninja. Hidden. Five kills in a row without being spotted. A Russian guide's spot is the school entrance: snipe the 5 Koreans there from range. Use a silenced rifle, cloak, drop the cloak only to fire, and re-cloak at once. If it doesn't come together on Delta, do it on Easy in cleanup (§19).
Once the entrance is clear, go into the school.
Achievement - Easy Darlin'. Open the door in the school building and rescue the hostage. Two tanks attack straight afterwards: the LAWs in the school's ground-floor room deal with them, and both count towards Tank Buster (§11).
Also in Recovery: the meeting with Prophet upriver, which ends the mission.
Warning. Recovery's secondary closes when the mission ends at the cave upriver. Finish the Tactical Network before you go to meet Prophet.
Prophet is waiting at the cave entrance.
Achievement - You Knew, Didn't You? The conversation with him there ends the mission.
9. Mission 3 - Relic
Farm villages, a waterfall and a bridge checkpoint on the way to the KPA excavation site, then a fight for the landing zone.
Relic has one secondary, the first helicopters and the attachments you still need for Something For Every Occasion. Pick up Prophet's dropped rifle at the start: it carries the grenade launcher.
| # | Objective | Location / how |
|---|---|---|
| 4 | Disable NK GPS Jamming Station | The radar jammer in the village by the farm plots, soon after Prophet is taken. Throw 3 grenades over the sheet-metal fence. Eight guards and two LTVs respond, so be ready to fight or to cloak away. |
Achievement - Following Orders. Your 4th secondary objective, which on this route is the jammer. One Steam player reported it not unlocking even though Without Question and Perfect, Soldier! did; nobody replied with a fix.
Three of the attachments are in this mission.
Achievement - Something For Every Occasion. Usually finished during Relic. The grenade launcher is on Prophet's dropped rifle at the start, or in the ammo boxes near the jammer. The sniper scope comes with the DSG-1 in a sniper tower. The laser sight comes from the SMG soldiers here (TrueAchievements), or fit it to the pistol (a Russian guide). The full list is in §18.
Helicopters show up after the boat and waterfall, and again at the bridge checkpoint.
Achievement - No Fly Zone. Hidden. Start it here: each helicopter takes about 2 hits from the missile launcher. One TrueAchievements commenter got all 5 in Relic on Delta. Don't reload a checkpoint to retry (§20). Assault has more (§10).
Keen Observer still short? A Russian guide's backup is here: after Prophet is taken, tag the group of 7 and then the group of 3, and reload the checkpoint about twice. Whether tags survive a reload is unconfirmed (§20). After that, the route leads to the excavation site.
Achievement - Very Strange Readings. The cutscene inside the excavation dome.
After the dome comes the graveyard landing zone, the last fight of the act.
Warning. Relic's secondary closes when you board the VTOL at the end. Have the jammer done before you reach the graveyard landing zone.
At the landing zone, behind the cemetery, a squad of four KPA Nanosuit soldiers attacks.
Achievement - Knock-off Knockout. Hidden. Kill one of the squad with a Strength punch: bare fists, Strength mode, and cloak to get close first. It is far easier on Easy or Normal, so on the Delta run only take the chance if it is there, and come back in cleanup (§19). Awakening's landing zone is the second spot (§12).
Kill the whole squad to clear the landing zone.
Achievement - Livin' Up To Your Name / Delta: Act I. Board the VTOL. Delta: Act I unlocks with it if Contact, Recovery and Relic were all played on Delta. If it does not, see §20.
10. Mission 4 - Assault
A harbour town, AA guns around the harbour, and a cruiser.
Still need Long Distance Relationship? At the start, from Lt. Bradley's hilltop, shoot the patrol boat or its crew: they are 230-270 m away.
| # | Objective | Location / how |
|---|---|---|
| 5 | Gather Intel From KPA | A house in the harbour town, before the harbour itself. Go in through the back door and use the laptop. It marks 2 ammo stashes on your map. |
Warning. Assault's one secondary closes when the mission ends. It is on your way in, so do it before you move on to the harbour.
Past the town are the AA guns, and helicopters with them.
Achievement - No Fly Zone. Hidden. Helicopters arrive after the first AA gun and again after the cruiser. If you are still short after these, Onslaught has more.
The third AA gun is on the harbour dock.
Achievement - Pro-Aircraft. C4 or 3 missiles take the third gun out.
Before you go after the cruiser, stock up in the harbour warehouse armoury.
Achievement - This Is My Rifle. All 5 modification points on one weapon, and only the FY71 has five: silencer, flashlight or laser, tactical attachment or grenade launcher, a scope, and incendiary ammo. The first incendiary ammo is in the back room of the harbour warehouse armoury (one guide calls it the hangar near the cruiser). Fit the attachments, then switch the FY71 to incendiary: the ammo type counts as a modification. More incendiary ammo turns up in Awakening's intel building, in Core and in Exodus. A few comments on a Russian guide (December 2024) report it not unlocking.
Then the cruiser itself.
Achievement - Enjoy The Fireworks. Use the console in the cruiser's control room, then tag the cruiser with the binoculars from the armoury roof.
11. Mission 5 - Onslaught
You start in a US tank, with a train station, a basin guarded by AA guns and a village between you and the mining complex.
Warning. One Careful Owner needs the tank you start in to reach the end of Onslaught. Once that tank is lost, this run's attempt is over and you will need to replay the mission. Dying is less final than it sounds: TrueAchievements found you respawn in the tank at the checkpoint with some health back, and Rarity's guide says a checkpoint restart resets its damage to 45%. Cynic calls it the hardest achievement on Delta and recommends Easy or Normal, though a commenter finished it on Delta after taking only 4 damage. Try it here; if the tank goes, take it in cleanup (§19).
Rarity's method: park the tank out of sight, clear each area on foot, destroy the train, then drive straight to the marker. A Russian guide adds that you should reach the end first and do the secondaries afterwards. That is unconfirmed, and this guide does the secondaries on the way.
| # | Objective | Location / how |
|---|---|---|
| 6 | Destroy the Boxcar | The yellow train cars blocking the crossing at the train station. With the tank, shoot the first car from the locomotive. TrueAchievements says it is very hard not to do this one. |
| 7 | Destroy the AA Artillery | Three AAA guns across the basin. Follow the railroad to the right; shell the far one from range, or use a LAW. TrueAchievements: skip these and you get no US support in Awakening. |
| 8 | Paint the Munitions Dump | Opens once the 3 AAA are down. Climb the sniper tower and tag the village with the binoculars to call in the airstrike. |
| 9 | Retrieve the Gauss Rifle | A VTOL lands on the railroad between the AAA and the village. Pick up the rifle. |
Achievement - Empty Platform. Secure the train-station village. A Russian guide says it is easy to miss and needs the train and every enemy near it destroyed. That is unconfirmed, and TrueAchievements treats it as a story unlock, but destroying the train costs you nothing.
The train station is also Long Distance Relationship's third spot: put a tank shell into the helicopter from there. Then push on across the basin.
Achievement - Tank Buster. Hidden. Five enemy tanks, cumulative. With the two from Recovery's school, Onslaught has enough tanks to finish it.
The AAA guns come first; then the munitions dump and the Gauss Rifle.
Achievement - Without Question. Your 8th secondary objective, which in the table's order is the munitions dump. This guide's reasoning, not a source's: the Gauss Rifle's VTOL lands between the AAA and the village, so if you pick up the rifle before painting the dump, the rifle is your 8th instead.
Get a kill with the Gauss Rifle as soon as you pick it up, for Weapons Master (§18). With all four secondaries ticked, make for the end of the mission, still in your tank.
Warning. Last stop for Onslaught's four secondaries: they close when the mission ends at the fault, beyond the blockade. Check the table now.
Drive up to the tank-trap blockade near the end.
Achievement - One Careful Owner. Hidden. It unlocks as you come into clear view of the blockade, if this is still the tank you started in.
Beyond the blockade is the fault.
Achievement - You're On Your Own. Cross the fault at the end of the mission.
12. Mission 6 - Awakening
Through a KPA base and a refinery and into the mines, with KPA Nanosuit soldiers in the way.
Warning. Awakening's secondary is at the very start, and it closes when the mission ends. Take the left road before you go anywhere else.
| # | Objective | Location / how |
|---|---|---|
| 10 | Infiltrate Office & Retrieve Intelligence Data | The KPA base at the start of the mission: take the LEFT road. The building holds about 15 enemies, plus an armoury with LAWs, C4 and incendiary ammo. |
On console this was the last secondary, and Perfect, Soldier! unlocked here. On Steam it is number 10 of 14: the other four are in Ascension.
Tip. The minigun for Weapons Master comes from the KPA Nanosuit soldiers here, at the refinery or in the mines. TrueAchievements rates the refinery fight, against three of them with miniguns, the toughest gunfight before the finale.
Knock-off Knockout's second spot is Awakening's landing zone, with 3 Nanosuit soldiers; the one with the minigun is slow. It is easier on Easy (§19). Later in the mission, the route goes underground.
Achievement - Going Underground. Unlocks as you enter the mine shaft bunker.
General Kyong is the mission's boss fight.
Achievement - It's On Like General Kyong. A thrown barrel kills him in one hit, even on Delta (a TrueAchievements tip). A Russian guide throws a wooden crate at him repeatedly instead.
Awakening is the last mission of the second act.
Achievement - Delta: Act II. At the end of the mission, if Assault, Onslaught and Awakening were all on Delta. If it does not unlock, see §20.
13. Mission 7 - Core
Core takes you beneath the mountain. There are no secondary objectives here or in the next two missions.
Achievement - Choke Hold. Hidden. 20 kills with a grab: hold melee to grab, then throw or kill. TrueAchievements' tip is that the enemies in Core die instantly to a grab, which makes this the best place to finish it. Lone KPA soldiers anywhere also work, and a low difficulty helps: if you are short after the credits, replay Core on Easy (§19).
Core also has incendiary ammo, if This Is My Rifle is still outstanding (§10). The mission ends with a holdout.
Achievement - I'm Coming Home. Survive the last holdout at the end of the mission.
14. Mission 8 - Paradise Lost
An escort mission with Prophet, ending on a bridge.
Warning. Prophet hands you the MOAC during a conversation in this mission. A Russian guide warns that many players skip the dialogue and lose the weapon with it, and a TrueAchievements commenter calls it the easiest thing in the game to miss. No source names another place to get it. Let the conversation play out, take the weapon, and get a kill with it. If you miss it, replay Paradise Lost after the credits (§19).
Once the MOAC is yours, use it on the next enemy you meet.
Achievement - Weapons Master. Hidden. A kill with every firearm. The MOAC is usually the last one, and the achievement unlocks on your first MOAC kill if the rest of §18 is done.
The escort ends on a bridge.
Achievement - Expedition Team. Get Prophet to the middle of the bridge at the end. On Delta you can sprint past the last two fires: his health no longer matters once you reach that point (TrueAchievements).
15. Mission 9 - Exodus
A fighting retreat to the marines' evacuation.
Two backups here. A Gauss Rifle sits on the counter in the cafe (Weapons Master), and Exodus has incendiary ammo and an FY71 on a car wreck (This Is My Rifle). One Xbox player reports that the FY71 lying about 10 m ahead at the start has every attachment fitted, which makes this mission a shortcut for Something For Every Occasion in cleanup.
Achievement - I'm A Marine, Son! The finale: hold off about 10 attackers from the AAA gun, then board Vulture-13.
16. Mission 10 - Ascension
The flight level: you pilot an MV-24H Vulture VTOL off the island. The console port shipped without it, and Crytek's PC patch of 17 December 2020 restored it, so the Steam version has it.
Warning. Cynic notes that on Delta the mission only asks you to fly to the carrier. Don't fly straight there: Perfect, Soldier! needs all four objectives below, and they close when the mission ends. Their names come from Cynic's guide alone.
| # | Objective | Location / how |
|---|---|---|
| 11 | Defend the Plateau | Early in the flight. Fly forward only until the other pilot calls for help, then defend the plateau. An original-PC walkthrough warns that shooting enemies before that call comes in can stop the objective completing. GamePressure: use the machine gun and save the rockets. |
| 12 | Investigate the Camp | Cynic: marked complete as you arrive, even though it shows as deactivated. No other source confirms it. |
| 13 | Defend the VTOLs | Fly to the marked area and hold it for about 60-90 seconds. Let your VTOL repair itself before you go in (GamePressure and an original-PC walkthrough). |
| 14 | Proceed to Convoy | Completes on arrival (Cynic). The convoy is destroyed almost at once whatever you do; GamePressure's advice is to stay in the area rather than leave it. |
Achievement - Perfect, Soldier! Unlocks with your 14th secondary objective, Proceed to Convoy, if the 13 before it are all done. Several Steam players confirm it pops during this flight mission, not in Awakening as on console. If it does not, see §19.
17. Mission 11 - Reckoning
The finale, aboard the carrier. Cynic rates it the hardest mission in the game.
Achievement - Strickland Would Be Proud. The exosuit on the carrier deck. Aim the minigun or LAWs at its face; there are 3 LAWs by the burning VTOL.
The TAC Cannon is in the armoury.
Warning. In the original 2007 game, going back on deck without taking the TAC Cannon from the armoury jammed the door, and the mission could not be finished without a reload. Nobody has confirmed this for the remaster, but take the TAC Cannon before you head back out.
Reckoning also has a Gauss Rifle, the last backup for Weapons Master. The exosuit and the fight that follows it are the hardest stretch on Delta (TrueAchievements, Cynic).
Achievement - Close Encounter / Crysis Controlled / Cool In A Crysis / Delta: Act III. All four unlock together at the end, after the TAC Cannon, on a Delta run. Delta: Act III needs Core, Paradise Lost, Exodus, Ascension and Reckoning all played on Delta. If it does not unlock, see §20.
18. The Weapon Checklists
Weapons Master wants a kill with every firearm, and Something For Every Occasion wants every attachment used. Both build up across the run, and the sources do not agree on exactly what counts. The tables follow Cynic's firearm list and the ENG guide's attachment list, with disputed entries marked. Do the disputed ones too: each costs one kill or one swap, and §22 explains the disagreements.
Firearms for Weapons Master
Cynic says grenades and C4 do not count.
| # | Firearm | Where / how |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | SCAR | Your rifle from the start of Contact: the starting attachments come fitted to it. |
| 2 | Pistol | No source gives a spot. A Russian guide fits the laser sight to it. Get a kill as soon as you have one. |
| 3 | FY71 | The rifle you build for This Is My Rifle from Assault (§10). Exodus has one on a car wreck. |
| 4 | Shotgun | No source gives a spot; use the first one you find. |
| 5 | Precision Rifle (DSG-1) | Recovery, behind the Tactical Network building (§8), or a Relic sniper tower (§9). |
| 6 | SMG | Relic's SMG soldiers (TrueAchievements). |
| 7 | Gauss Rifle | The reward for Onslaught's Retrieve the Gauss Rifle objective (§11). Backups on the Exodus cafe counter and in Reckoning. |
| 8 | Minigun | From the KPA Nanosuit soldiers in Awakening, at the refinery or in the mines (§12). |
| 9 | Alien MOAC | Prophet hands it over in a Paradise Lost conversation; don't skip it (§14). Usually the last one. |
| 10 | Missile Launcher (disputed) | TrueAchievements' Xbox list counts it; Cynic says it does not; Russian guides name the LAW. You carry one for No Fly Zone anyway, so get one infantry kill with it. |
Attachments for Something For Every Occasion
No source spells out what counts as "use", so fit each one and fire a few rounds with it. Cynic says incendiary ammo does not count here (it does count for This Is My Rifle).
| # | Attachment | Where / how |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Silencer | Starts on the SCAR. |
| 2 | Flashlight | Starts on the SCAR. |
| 3 | Tactical attachment | Starts on the SCAR. |
| 4 | Reflex sight | Starts on the SCAR. |
| 5 | Assault scope | Recovery: TrueAchievements takes it from the sniper's DSG-1 (§8). |
| 6 | Grenade launcher | Relic: Prophet's dropped rifle at the start, or the ammo boxes near the jammer (§9). |
| 7 | Sniper scope | Relic: the DSG-1 in a sniper tower (§9). |
| 8 | Laser sight | Relic: from the SMG soldiers (TrueAchievements), or fit it to the pistol (a Russian guide). |
| 9 | Open sight (disputed) | The SCAR's iron sight, which also starts on it. The ENG Steam guide lists it; Cynic says iron sights do not count. Switch to it once anyway. |
19. Cleanup - Mission Select on Easy
After the credits, use mission select for whatever is left. Two Russian Steam guides say every mission can then be played on any difficulty, and one adds that mission select uses the difficulty from the game settings: set Easy there first, then pick the mission.
The four Easy jobs
Catch This! is the rarest achievement on the list: 6.6% of Steam players have it.
Achievement - Catch This! Hidden. Ten kills with thrown objects. Switch to Strength before each throw; one commenter says Classic Suit Controls let you toggle it directly. Red barrels, dumpsters and manhole covers kill in one hit, and one tip is to tranquillise the target first, then throw. Get the ten without reloading a checkpoint (§20). Any mission with KPA infantry and heavy objects lying about will do; one comment says barrels thrown in Reckoning counted, which is unconfirmed.
Choke Hold is quickest in Core.
Achievement - Choke Hold. Replay Core on Easy: its enemies die instantly to a grab (§13). Lone KPA soldiers in any mission also work.
For Knock-off Knockout, go back to Relic's graveyard.
Achievement - Knock-off Knockout. Replay Relic on Easy and go to the graveyard landing zone: cloak, close in, and punch a Nanosuit soldier to death with Strength (§9). Awakening's landing zone is the backup (§12). The ENG Steam guide softens the target up with the machine gun first; whether that still counts when the punch lands the killing blow is unconfirmed.
One Careful Owner means a full Onslaught replay.
Achievement - One Careful Owner. Replay Onslaught on Easy and keep the starting tank all the way to the tank-trap blockade (§11). Rarity's method: hide the tank, clear each area on foot, destroy the train, then drive straight to the marker.
Kill counters and anything else
Achievement - Special Forces / Team Raptor. 200 and 400 kills, cumulative. Both come naturally if you fight rather than sneak: a Russian guide reaches 400 by early Act II by killing everything, and Cynic says the counts survive saves and deaths. If you are short, any mission on Easy tops them up.
Anything else still missing:
- Nano Ninja. Recovery on Easy, at the school entrance (§8).
- Long Distance Relationship. Recovery, the start of Assault, or Onslaught's train station (§8, §10, §11).
- No Fly Zone / Tank Buster. Relic, Assault and Onslaught for helicopters; Recovery's school and Onslaught for tanks.
- Weapons Master. Missed the MOAC? Replay Paradise Lost and let Prophet's conversation play (§14). For any other gap, §18 says where each firearm is.
- Something For Every Occasion. One Xbox report: load Exodus, and the FY71 about 10 m ahead has every attachment on it (§15).
- Perfect, Soldier! A missed Ascension objective is the usual cause, so replay Ascension first and do all four (§16). No source confirms how replays after the credits feed the count, and the game shows no list, so if that does not do it, work back through the other six missions with secondaries using the tables.
- A Delta act. See §20.
20. Difficulty, Delta & Reported Bugs
How the difficulty achievements stack. A Delta completion also unlocks Crysis Controlled and Cool In A Crysis: TrueAchievements' Delta run ended with Close Encounter, Crysis Controlled, Cool In A Crysis and Delta: Act III all unlocking together. A Hard completion gives Cool In A Crysis and Crysis Controlled but no Delta acts. Each Delta act unlocks at the end of its last mission (Relic, Awakening, Reckoning), and only if every mission in it was played on Delta.
What Delta changes. No crosshair, no grenade warnings, and enemies speak only Korean. Cynic's one-run approach leans heavily on Cloak. The hardest stretches, by the guides' accounts, are One Careful Owner (Cynic), Awakening's refinery fight against three minigun Nanosuit soldiers (TrueAchievements), and Reckoning's closing fights (TrueAchievements, Cynic).
Reported bugs and workarounds. These are player reports.
- Marathon Man not tracking. The best-known one: the distance stops counting or never starts, and most reports link it to Classic Suit Controls. Some players instead got it instantly or early. Fix 1: turn Classic Suit Controls off and Speed-sprint; one player found the distance only counts while you are in a full Speed sprint ("super-sprinting", May 2024). Fix 2, the marked answer in the Steam thread: back up, then delete the SaveGames and Profiles folders in
%USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\CrysisRemastered\and start a new game. That is why this guide does Marathon Man on the first beach. - Delta: Act I, II or III not unlocking. Reported in two Steam threads. Workaround: replay each mission of the act from mission select, one at a time, with Delta selected for every replay. Two players fixed it this way (October 2024 and January 2025); a third (January 2025) said it did not work for them. To catch it early, a Russian guide suggests checking after Contact that the mission registered as Delta (§7).
- Zoology not unlocking. Some players picked up the turtle with no result, including one who had moved from the Epic version to Steam. Workaround: grab a crab on the Contact beach, near the two idle KPA soldiers, and throw it at them (Steam thread, April 2023). Another player says it popped simply on grabbing the turtle at the start.
- Kill and throw progress on a checkpoint reload. Cynic says kill counts survive saves and deaths. TrueAchievements' authors found that a checkpoint reload loses Catch This! and No Fly Zone progress (Xbox). This guide's precaution: get each batch of throws or helicopters without reloading, and never farm one spot with reloads. The Keen Observer reload trick in §9 is untested against this.
- Perfect, Soldier! not unlocking. Usually a missed Ascension objective: several Steam players found it only unlocks in the flight mission. See also Cynic's replay warning in §4.
- Following Orders not unlocking even though the 8-objective and all-objective achievements did. One Steam report, with no replies.
- No Fly Zone, Long Distance Relationship and This Is My Rifle not unlocking. One player shot about 10 helicopters without a pop (November 2024), a TrueAchievements commenter made several 200 m+ kills that did not count (Xbox), and comments on a Russian guide report the same for This Is My Rifle (December 2024).
- Early or random unlocks. Marathon Man, Weapons Master, the kill counters and Catch This! have all been reported popping early or at odd moments; one Catch This! unlocked during the final battle. Nothing to fix: tick them off when they come.
- Last resort. The ENG Steam guide, crediting the same player as the Marathon Man fix, suggests the save-folder deletion for any stuck achievement. Back up first: it starts you from scratch.

22. Accuracy & Sources
This walkthrough was written fresh for this site in October 2026, then cross-checked against the Steam store page and Steam's global achievement statistics (AppID 1715130), Exophase's Steam list, TrueSteamAchievements, TrueTrophies, TrueAchievements' achievement pages and Delta walkthrough (archived copies of the Xbox version), KeenGamer, TheSixthAxis, Crytek's press releases, the Crysis Wiki, GamePressure, doesitplay, an original-PC Ascension walkthrough from 2007, Steam Community guides by Cynic 0055 (dated 19 April, updated 19 June, most likely 2026), Rarity, TACTYPHONIC (2021) and two Russian-language authors, and seven Steam discussion threads.
What is solid. All 40 names and the 28 visible descriptions were read from Steam's own stats page. The 12 hidden descriptions, blank there, match word for word between Exophase and TrueSteamAchievements. The 11-mission order matches the Delta: Act descriptions, the Crysis Wiki and GamePressure. Ascension's return on PC on 17 December 2020 comes from Crytek's own patch announcement. Every source that addresses missables (TrueAchievements, Cynic, TrueSteamAchievements' flags) says nothing is permanently missable.
Where sources disagreed, and what this guide did:
- Secondary objective thresholds. Steam and Exophase show Following Orders at 4 and Without Question at 8. TrueSteamAchievements, the console lists (TrueTrophies, TrueAchievements) and KeenGamer still show the older wording, 3 and 6. Steam players confirm 4 and 8, and this guide uses Steam's current text. When Steam's wording changed is unknown.
- Delta: Act III. Steam's current text includes Ascension. TrueSteamAchievements, the console lists and KeenGamer leave it out, matching the game before Ascension came back. This guide uses Steam's current text and plays Ascension on Delta.
- How many secondary objectives: 10, 6 or 14. 10 comes from console guides, which say secondaries exist only in Acts I and II; that was true before Ascension returned. 6 is the old Without Question threshold, a milestone rather than a total. 14 is Cynic's count for the Steam version, adding Ascension's four, and several Steam players confirm Perfect, Soldier! now unlocks in Ascension. This guide uses 14.
- Ascension objectives. Their names, and the claim that two of them complete on arrival, come from Cynic alone. The original-PC walkthrough and GamePressure back up defending the plateau, defending the VTOLs and a convoy objective; "Investigate the Camp" is not confirmed anywhere else.
- Objective wording. Cynic and TrueSteamAchievements word some objectives slightly differently (with or without "North Korean" or "NK"); the tables use the fuller form.
- Achievement name misprints. KeenGamer lists "I'm Coming Out" for I'm Coming Home, drops the comma from Perfect, Soldier!, writes the Delta acts as Act 1, 2 and 3, and spells harbour the British way in Pro-Aircraft. This guide uses Steam's names and descriptions exactly.
- Weapons Master: does the Missile Launcher count? Cynic's Steam guide lists 9 firearms (Pistol, SCAR, FY71, Shotgun, Precision Rifle, SMG, Gauss Rifle, Minigun, Alien MOAC) and says grenades, C4 and the missile launcher do not count. TrueAchievements' Xbox list includes the Missile Launcher; Russian guides add the LAW and mention 2 alien weapons. §18 tracks Cynic's 9 plus the Missile Launcher, marked disputed, for 10 rows. There were also early-unlock reports for Weapons Master on Steam in September 2021.
- Something For Every Occasion: 8 or 9 attachments. Cynic tracks 8 and says iron sights and incendiary ammo do not count. The ENG Steam guide (TACTYPHONIC) lists 9: Flashlight, Laser sight, Silencer, Open sight, Reflex sight, Assault scope, Sniper scope, Tactical attachment and Grenade launcher. Cynic does not list his 8; this guide assumes they are the ENG 9 minus the Open sight, since he excludes iron sights. So §18 tracks the ENG guide's 9 with the Open sight marked disputed. Neither source counts incendiary ammo.
- Korean voices. doesitplay, testing the Switch remaster, says enemies speak English from Easy to Hard and Korean only on Delta. The Crysis Wiki's page for the original 2007 game says Korean infantry already speak Korean on Hard. Unconfirmed for the Steam build; no achievement depends on it.
- Difficulty names. Easy, Normal, Hard and Delta come from doesitplay (Switch). Hard and Delta appear in Steam's achievement text and Easy in Steam forum posts; Normal is confirmed only by doesitplay.
- Mission select. The sources do not settle when it opens (§4), so this guide treats it as post-credits.
- Replays and progress. Only Cynic reports the mid-run replay reset in §4. It is unconfirmed elsewhere, but it is why this guide keeps the Delta run unbroken.
- Checkpoint reloads. Cynic and TrueAchievements report different things about counters and reloads (§20). Neither tested binocular tags. This guide follows the more cautious reading.
- One Careful Owner on Delta. Cynic calls it the hardest on Delta; a commenter finished it on Delta with 4 damage taken. A Russian guide's tip to reach the end before doing the secondaries is unconfirmed.
- Empty Platform. A Russian guide says it can be missed unless the train and nearby enemies are destroyed; TrueAchievements treats it as story. Unconfirmed.
- Playthroughs. TrueAchievements' Xbox walkthrough plans two runs and Cynic offers one or two; TACTYPHONIC, both Russian guides and GamePressure do it all in one Delta run. This guide plans one Delta run plus targeted replays.
- Collectibles. GamePressure says Crysis has none, and Cynic's text agrees, though its own breakdown header reads "Collectibles 2". This guide counts none.
- Reckoning door. The TAC Cannon softlock is documented for the original 2007 PC game only.
- Steam Achievement Manager. Some guide comments suggest it for stuck achievements. It is a third-party tool, not a fix, and this guide does not cover it.
- Global percentages were read from Steam on 14 October 2026 and will drift.
- Not found: no PowerPyx or PSNProfiles guide for Crysis Remastered exists, page 4 of TrueAchievements' walkthrough was never archived, and GameSpot's walkthrough could not be reached.
